Consistent Focus On A Task Is Prerequisite For Excellence

It is very widely recognized by neuroscience that human brain has limitations in terms of attention, memory and focus. 
When the consistency is not there on a specific task at hand then it is very likely that the critical nuances and details, necessary for building excellence, tend to get missed out.
Consistency helps in developing specific locations in the brain for supporting the skills or activity being practiced. This finding is corroborated by the fact that most legends strikingly excel only in a particular field of their calling in their whole lifetimes.
